had my 6 week post natal check, and asked doc when I can start exercising again after my section..
She said to do very gentle exercising for now e.g walking..but no abdo work for SIX MONTHS!
This is the bit I need to lose..my mummy tummy!

How am I gonna work on it if I cant bloody do any exercises for it?

Any one have any tips? Would be much apprieciated!

 6 months? They having a laugh? You can build up to doing exercises after a section on your abdo but you just have to start slowly but surely. Usually after 6 weeks. I have heard it said that at 6 weeks, if it's fully healed, that's as good as it'll ever be in terms of scar healing. Pelvic floor and tightening your tummy muscles are good ones to start with, esp pelvic floor as that activates the muscles around your tummy to contract and work. Then you can move on to other exercises. But yeah, swimming's an excellent one to do, if you can manage it and looking after your LO!
