oh nikki in a few more weeks try standing him in the middle of the room with cushions round him, thats what i did with kieran, he was just like your Jamie and he walked at 9 months. i think that Jamie will be quicker though.

he is such a handsome boy.

Did he pull himself up hun or did you put him there? Ella was standing like this at abut 3 and a half months nut I had to stand her there myself. Not she pulls herself up on anything and everything and walks around her cot

I put him there. I don't think it will be long before he starts trying to, he's always trying to pull himself forward. He gets so frustrated when he can't do things, its quite funny!

aww bless he will probably be doing it soon, Ella was 6 months when she first pulled herself up, she used the arm of the sofa. Sit him next to the arm of the sofa and see if he tries, think this is the easiest place for them to start becuase its lower, then they start standing in the cot, then anything they can get their hands on!

 

Damien started to stand at the stairs a few days ago, then the cot 2 day ago (was a funny sight to be greated with in the morning!) and now climbs up at everything, including the telly! Nearly 9 months but not bad

Lauz, Jamie is pulling himself forward more & more, its a nightmare trying to get the straps done up on his car seat!! When he's sitting on the sofa he leans forward so far he ends up with his face flat on the cushion, then gets ratty coz he can't sit back up, quite funny to watch (i'm so mean!)
