Jacob's first weighing

Jacob was weighed yesterday and he has put on 5 ounces - he now weighs 9 3 the midwife was really pleased but surprised, she said that generally exclusively breast fed babies don't put on weight in the first weighing but that they expect them to be back up to their birth weight. I must be doing something right!!

yeah its much better now we are in a routine ect just hassel getting out and about, by the time harleys fed washed dressed and diors fed washed dressed then i get ready,its the end of the day

wow thats really good! I was breast feeding at first and Ella only put on half an ounze and I thought this wasnt much the midwife said it was good. definatly full fat milk coming out of you!

lol full fat milk and that fact that he is constantly attached - I am a milking machine!!!!!!!

hey great news Lindsay, you're doing great!....Mason was exclusively breastfed and was above the 99th centile It's a great feeling when they put on weight isn't it?

Yeah it is, I was really proud when she told me his weight!!! I am starting to settle into breast feeding now, we are getting into a routine however I haven't been out and about when I need to feed him, not sure how I will get on with that

We took Jacob to the health baby clinic this morning to get him weighed again, he hasn't been weighed since the last time on 29th May when he was 9 3 this morning he weighed 10 2!!!!
