IVF #2 Day 8 of Stimms - Fluid in Uterus

Hi all - its been a while....

Yesterday at my ultrasound scan they found fluid in my uterus. I was on day 8 of stimms.... They don't know what it is or where it came from but for now they ate carrying on with cycle. If it doesn't go and I make it to egg collection they will not transfer just freeze any embies.

Has anyone ever had this?!

My 1st IVF failed and they don't know why as 2 good embies were transfered but I do recall there being fluid in my uterus on one of scans but it went away. I should have stayed away from Google but read that if fluid is there the embies can't implant and if the fluid goes it leaves behind a toxic hostile environment and I'm wonderinv if that's why it failed last time?!

What is this flaming fluid and why is it there!!??

Yesterday I was in such a state the senior doc in charge had to come talk to me!! I'm still upset but not as bad - just was really hoping it was my turn. I don't want my uterus to be toxic and hostile

Sorry hon, don't have any experience of this.

Did the doctor say what the 'fluid' was??

I hope you can get to the bottom of this and have a positive cycle.

Sometimes you get fluid build up if your tubes have been removed or a reaction to stims but dont worry cos they won't transfer if they think its sn issue and will freeze all for next cycle thats what they did for us as I was at risk of ohss
