So which of you ladies are unable to resist buying early either and what did you buy first??

i bought my pram at 5 weeks..a carrier, breastpump, cloth nappies, and we have had a moses basket given to us.. we arnt finding out the sex and have got all its 1st clothes in neutral, just 5 outfits inc babygrows. i dont think its ever to early.. ifsomething had gone wrong we'd have tried again so they wouldnt have gone to waste..

thats it now. the first of many!!! :rotfl:

I didn't buy much, but once I started I found it difficult to stop. It's just as bad now as I know the sex and love looking at all the baby boy things in the sales. xx

We were given loads of stuff before I even fell pregnant! My Father in Law knew that we were trying and his next-door neighbour was ditching all her little girl's clothes, plus baby bath and Moses basket. So he took them for us. My sister and Mother in Law have also bought a few things. And I had a bit of a spending spree on eBay ages and ages ago when we had a false hope, so I've got tonnes of things already.

I've bought a babygrow set (with hat, socks, bib, mittens) and some vests, a winnie the pooh toy and some teddy bibs

oh and i've got a mum to be sign in the car

Me & OH were so exicited when we found out I was pregnant that at only 5 weeks we went & bought a Graco delux travel system with car seat & moses basket, also bought lots of avent bottles, breast pump e.t.c

oh and a baby changer (the one with the lil bath at the top) on and baby wipes that were on offer. we have a cot coming from OH's sister-its georgeous! although we will obiosuly be getting a new matress for it.

ummmm think thats it so far. oh, almost forgot-got a few meternity clothes ready for when i fit into them lol

That really is it now. I think!

I am so happy reading this post. I was shopping and I saw little vests when I was about six weeks I resisted buying them but told DH and he was like - dont be getting too excited yet blah blah, so I didnt buy them. But a few weeks later after my scan I bough a gorgeous little new born outfit and have it hanging proudly in my wardrobe - but resisted everything else - now reading all your posts I think Ill go mad buying stuff

And I thought you would all say I was being hasty lol.. oh dear, I must have set off a craze.. well c'mon ladies lets go mad spending and get stuff for our babies LOL

The only thing i have got so far is clothes for myself and that's cause it was in the sale at jojomaman babe was a pair of work trousers and a mini skirt for my saint tropez holiday in sept. £3 for skirt and £9 trousers. bargain, hope size 8 will still fit me?! :)
Will wait b4 i move into my new house in a few weeks till i buy baby stuff or ill have to move it.
