It's early days but...

.. today I had a scan and we saw a teeny splodge with a great big heartbeat! I spent the weekend in hospital because of bleeding and cramps. I saw a gynae registrar who tried to give me a scan but the portable machine broke. Then I saw another reg the next morning who used another portable scanner, we saw something in there but it wasn't that clear. It was such a relief today to see my tiny baby, we both had a tear!
Sadly though it hasn't stopped my worrying! The doctor cant explain where the bleeding is from or why its happening. I've been signed off of work for a week just to rest and my midwife is coming round tomorrow to book me in so hopefully she'll be able to reassure me a bit. But so far, so good!

Great news that u saw the heartbeat hardest thing to do is not worry but I really hope u get an answer soon and it's just something that will go away! These mini bumps are trouble at times xxx

They are! I hope my little one knows all my worry is because I love him so much! I probably sounds silly but I tell him / her every day. I know he cant hear so won't get much out of it but hopefully he can sense it!!

It's so hard isn't it? I'm sure that seeing a heartbeat is a good sign though. I dont think anyone actually stops worrying until they have their baby in their arms! xx

Awwww congrats hun im so glad you got to see the heartbeat ...hopefully the bleeding will ease for you soon and you will feel a little more at ease ..

as for the worrying i dont think its something you will ever lose totally at each stage there is something to worry about and once there born something else to worry about and as they grow even more worrys ....i think worrying is part and parcle of being a parent its just trying to keep it in perspective that counts
