Hi...

Wanted ideas for boy & girl names please, must be Italian ..

Thanks
Guadagnia

I had Giacomo on my list for a boy, I LOVE it!

Pronouced Jack-omo, it's Italian for James and was Casanova'a first name. I was watching the BBC drama with David Tennant who I think is gorgeous when I came up with it :D

Love it ....................

I currently have a little boy Lucca, I like for a boy Dino & Rocco, but am aware Rocco is very Madge !!

Struggling on girls names though

Adriana - from my fave Shakespeare play

Lucia - for it's simplicity

Nerina - a lovely girl I once knew

:D

I have a friend whos husband is Italian and their childrens names are:
Guiseppe - boy - they shorten it to Pep
Gabriella - Girl - they shorten this to Bella.

Sarah x

boys- guiseppe ( shorten to pep or pepa)
girls - gabriella
- dina
( all cousins names that are italian)
x sophie x

I had a quick scan for a few Italian names and I picked out a couple I personally liked.

Boy:
Carmine

Girl:
Isabella, Serefina

I have a friend whose daughter is called Allesandra her hubbie is Italian.

I also love Isabella or what about Gianluca or Marco.

Hello!
Serefina is wrong. The correct nae is Serafina.... but both serafina and carmine are extremely very old fashion names.... present only in the south of italy.... quite common during the fascism with Mussolini!
