PASS! i have no idea hope someone can answer this as its quiet interesting i know it can take a while for you periods to come back and regulate again but thats as far as my knowledge goes im affraid

Not to be relied on! Bit of an old wives tale and everyone knows someone who was "caught" when b/fing.

I didn't have a period when b/fing but got pregnant with the baby I lost before I had a period (we were trying so not using any contraception!)

I bf DD exclusively till she was 4 months old and didn't have a period until she was 6 months. So yes, breastfeeding can stop your periods, however as has been said, this is not a reliable method of contraception and you could ovulate at any time!

Don't get too excited. I had a period within 3 weeks and then have been regular with them ever since. LO is over 6 months now and I am still breastfeeding.

ive breastfed my two and my periods returned too, although with rebecca I had a little bleed write up untill my first period and it was really heavy

I think it's differnt for everyone. I'm BF and I'm having a period now so definately not a reliable form of contraception

Just jumping in, I didnt have af for narly 9 months and even then it was very irregular, light and hardley there at all!
