to have really bad pains low down? last night was the worst ever, in fact i was in tears, when i wake up to go to the loo, i usually feel bit tight round tummy area and its kind of saw, but last night i was in agony tried to get back in bed and i couldn't move, then to make things worse i bloomin sneezed!!!! this is my 3rd pregnancy, ive never felt pain like it (apart from birth) is anyone else getting this? now i dread going to bed at night.

sorry your suffering hun, are the pains in your tummy or nearer your bikini line?

yeah and a bit higher, right across me tum!!!!!! what do you think it is?? xx

braxton hicks maybe? how far gone are you? - i read that they are more common after a few pregnancys. They sound really strong. I have them mainly at night too - but mine dont hurt yet (my tummy just goes really REALLY hard and its uncomfortable)
Id ring the midwife and just get checked out to put your mind at rest.

i was just thinkin if it was low down around your bikini area, across the pelvic joint it might be SPD where the ligaments joinin the pelvis soften and relax, i suffered really bad with my second pregnancy.

if its more on the tummy maybe its stretching pains as the muscles etc arent as strong after two previous babies?

if your worried like rachel said i'd ring the midwife just to be sure.

getting braxton hicks all the time so it could be just stronger ones at night,...... er... put me down for epidural then!!!!! going to be a wimp when real thing happens. not supprising... my labours seem to get worse each time. see midwife on 26th so will talk to her then will have alot to catch up on as haven't seen her in a few months!! thank you for replies, oooooo dont want to go to bed :( anything i can do to ease the pain????

hav u tried a hot bath? if that dont do it 4 u then maybe go 2 the docs and see if s/he can prescribe something safe 4 pg women thats a little stronger than paracetamol.
