Is it happening??

My back aches and cramping came back at about 11am (usually only at night), and for the last hour i've had different pains.
I've had BH, but this is nothing like that.
Its kind of a cross between stitch, cramp and trapped wind.
And kind of feels like i need a really big poo (sorry tmi).
Its coming and going but theyre not quite strong enough to accurately measure yet.
My legs feel really heavy and the tops of my thighs hurt.
Could it finally be happening?

sounds good to me Sam, bit like how I felt with my first, get in the bath if you can, get yourself ready incase you have to go in quickly, good luck, I hope it's all systems go

Hospital bag, notes and car seat already in car!
OH only works 10 mins up the road.
Just waiting for it to get stronger so I can start measuring.
At the mo it feels pretty much constant with occasional extra aches!
And I just feel heavy!

try to start timing those extra aches if you can, they are prob contractions, I felt constantly achey all through labor, it was one big contraction, this is more common than they tell you, have you lost mucus plug yet? anything when you wipe today? (tmi)

Its been coming out in bits for the last week or so.
Seems relatively normal today.
I get paranoid that I'm going to convince myself I'm not in labour and leave it too late to go to hospital!
We live 30 mins from the hospital!

It keeps easing off a bit then coming back.
Will attempt to time it in a mo!
OH due home at 6, so might as well let him work til the end today rather than worry him.
Just downloaded a contraction timing app for my iphone that plots it all on graphs and advises when to go to hospital so going to try that out.
Just going to see how it pans out this evening.
It doesnt feel like anything I've felt before in the whole pregnancy, so fx!

Good luck hun, think you will be in hospital in next few hours, sure you will feel so much better when OH is home, don't forget any worries/questions/advice call labour ward, it's what they are there for, they will also tell you when to come in ))))))) fx

Theyve eased a bit.
Just managed some food to keep my energy levels up just in case!
Will see how it progresses through the evening!
Trying not to get too excited!
