Is it AF?

I posted the other day about AF being late and having lots of very similar symptoms to my first two pregnancies and when I eventually poas I got a BFN (admittedly I done the test about half hour after I already went for a pee and at like 4pm ) so yesterday 11 days late for AF I thought she had arrived I'm now a little concerned , cramping was really painful, pains were lower than my typical cramping and really painful in my thighs! I had taken 2 strong painkillers and been using a hot water bottle but neither seemed to dull the pain, and I have been really heavy bleeding. To begin with I just decided it was
Because AF was so late it must be a heavier period, but around tea time I passed a tissue like clot bigger than what I can sometimes pass on period (sorry tmi) stupidly I've flushed it as I kind of freaked with the amount of blood I was passing. Sorry for the long winded post,
Not really sure what I'm expecting from this but think I just needed to type it out!

Maybe you didn't ovulate this month?? I had an annovulatory cycle last year. AF arrived over 2 weeks late and it was really heavy, clotty and I had really bad cramps. My periods are usually pretty light and I only get mild cramps, so I thought I must be having a miscarriage or something. When I spoke to the doctor, she said to me that if you don't ovulate, your period only starts once your uterine lining has become too thick, so it can be very heavy, with big clots.

Hope it gets better for you. I'd recommend you talk to your doc if it doesn't ease up xx

Thanks for your reply. Can be hard wording posts and getting a response to them. Guess I was looking for a little reassurance and you have gave me some think I'm going to have to give the GP a call as I'm still clotting and bleeding heavily.

Well I've continued to heavily bleed, cramp basil you (back and thighs mostly) and pass clots up until lunch time yesterday and now it's just stopped all bleeding stopped. I'm still sore however. Don't think I've ever had AF for as short as 2&1/2 days!!
