Is anyone else craving smells?!

Yes ok, I admit I may be slightly wierd, but is anyone else craving the smell of something?
Or even the touch of something for that matter?

Each of my pregnancies I've been mad about hoovering!!! And it isn't any old hoover, it has to be a Dyson!!!
I love the smell of all the dust inside the chamber! Oh and when the hoover is actually running - I'm in heaven!!!

And what makes it even better is the citrus shake and vac as well. Mix the two together and wow!!!!


Also, yes there is more!!! I'm mad on sponges! Not eating them or anything silly like that, but just the feel of them!!
I have some baby ones, are they called ramer or something like that?
Well I washed one in the machine earlier and we use Fairy Liquid Tabs.
Wow - I'm not sat here with this damn sponge under my nose looking like a fool!

My four year old seriously does not know what to make of me at the moment!!!!!

I think he thinks I've finally lost it!!!!

Oh yes, the smell of cleaning products are sending me wild!
DETTOL aaallllll day long! I fill a bowl in the kitchen so that the smell lingers all day!
Also I love the smell of B&Q (the woody, creosault smell)!
I think I could suck on a dettol soaked cloth, but I realise it could harm the baby, so I will resist! hehe

I really craved clean washing at the end of my last pregnancy. I used to wash 1 item and put it in the tumble dryer so that I could sit in the utility room & smell it! I remember cuddling up to OH on the sofa one evening & him complaining that I was sniffing his (clean) top!

Ooh the air conditioning in the car used to smell gorgeous too, just for the first few minutes when it first went on.

YES!!!!!! i am so glad im not alone!!! my dh thinks i have totally lost it!!!
i am loving the smell of my shed or a garden centre - i went out the other day and dh had for a joke put a chair in the shed for me to sit and just smell!!!
and old books!!!

Lol I know I'm not really meant to post in here yet but..........It's not a craving of mine hahaha .when my mum was pregnant with my sister she craved the smell of toilet duck!!! apparantly she used to open bottles of it when shopping and get some right funny looks when she was walking round sniffing it!

I crave smells when Im not preggers

My smell sense is super hightened too, I could smell toast on a collegue at 4pm that she had had for breakfast

I have avoided lush products as I really believe I would be in danger of eating some of the soaps....mmmmm Rock star!!

I've been craving the smell of Vosene shampoo for weeks now..... I've had to stop in at the supermarket on the way home to have a sniff

The smell of soap and cleaning products, especially dettol and bleach are the best

I'm loving the smell of flash at the moment. Also the smell of matches when they've just been struck,i've been like that since the start with the matches, OH thinks I've gone mad! lol

Kitchen wipes, most of them, i think its cus u can just peel back the top and u get a hugeee whiff, plus iv bought tons recently to disnfect me b n b room so mmmmm, smell gooood ! Started wiping surfaces for smell rather than cleanliness lol

omg, I never knew this was so common. I thought I was on my own. I also had this with my first pregnancy - Any cleaning products/polishes/varnishes etc. Especially really strong ones that sting your nose if you take a big sniff. I try not to get too carried away though cus not sure whether or not it could harm bubs? I mean, I'd do it till I was feeling light-headed if I thought it was perfectly healthy. I feel like a bit of a junkie glue-sniffer sometimes.

oh, and and, the smell as you walk into a Wilkinson's store...heaven...

Im not in here yet either, but i cant get enough of the smell of...... dog food. Its soo good!

My poor dogs are gonna get so fat, i keep finding excuses to open the treat box but they catch me and i have to give them one!

I HAD to smell my birthing ball at least 6 times a day. It smelt like Parma Violets. Loved it, infact I still do. I gave it a good sniff this afternoon!

Oh my god! I thought it was me being strange! I'm craving the smell of new swimming goggles. You know when you got a brand new pair and when you opened the pack there is a rubbery smell. Thats what I crave... my DH thought I was mad earlier when I said I wantd to get some and explained why I wanted them!!

cant think of any smells im craving but there are smells i hate/make me feel sick.

i hate dettol at the moment, its banned in my house at the moment, and the lavender fairy liquid i used to love really makes me feel sick, has to be good old lemon washing up liquid just now!!

OH Bought some tea tree oil cream at the weekened. I can't stop sniffing it and rubbing it over myself!

Would love to sniff on some Vix right now too!
