iPhone Fetal monitor app - dropped my jaw!

There is an iPhone app for 1.49£ for the next two days, that allows to hear the baby's heart beat (aka My baby's beat) using the iPhone mic!!! I tried it before (when I was at earlier stage of pregnancy) and it did not work , but eventually it started to work - I can actually hear the baby's heart beat!!! Hubby went crazy once I emailed him the recording) The downside - it's not free (couldn't find any app like this for free...) , and you have to be in a really quite room (no kids running around please)...
