So I'm being induced at 8:30am and already my husband is winding me up. I actually think I'd prefer to do this on my own in the room with just midwives. Every time I ask him something he has to constantly condrict me or argue about why I just said to him to stop leaving the back door or windows open and use the fan in the kitchen and he's like no I don't I can open a window....coming up for winter about to have a baby, he left the back door open so the dogs can come in and out as they please again floor is now covered in mud and I spent all yesterday cleaning. I'm already stressed about today and now he's doing this with me? He's also rushing me to get myself ready to go the hospital as he's tired oh yeah he's tired cheeky *******. I was up at 2am and have barely slept at all. I am not impressed today. Xxx

And breathe Violet! Try not to let him stress you (easier said than done). Hope induction goes quickly & you're having hsby hugs by tea time xx

He's probably acting like that because he's nervous too. It's not right but men do gave a habit of that. Concentrate on staying calm. What an exciting day. You'll finally meet your baby! :-) xx

Punch in the face sounds like a good way of letting off that steam and would be totally justified too x

Good luck with induction x

Well we've in here since 9am and I've still not been checked over or monitored and I'm now getting pissed off. I hate hospitals and I am so tempted to just say when you feel like it I'll come back but I'm going home. Xxx

Chillllllll. Deep breaths! My OH got like this in the last couple weeks of both my pregnancys. Hes probably just keeking himself. He will soon be responsible for a little person. I know its frustrating and your hormones are raging but all the arguing will soon pass. The moment our kids were handed to us he changed in an instant. Done anything and everything for us. 3 weeks on and our relationship is strronger than its ever been. Lets hope it stays that way!
All the best for your induction. Im so glad to see its finally happening for you. Not long now. Look forward to updates xxx

It took them 7 hrs on Tuesday to get to the induction bit after I arrived on the ward at 8am. Bit frustrating to say the least. I didn't sleep much the night before either, it sucks.

Good luck.

Good luck Violet, try and enjoy the day even though it can be frustrating - you will remember this day for the rest of your life x

I did this. Had enough by 9pm so went home and came back first thing the next day :oooo:
It's very nerve wracking and stressful for you both as you both don't know what's going to happen. Try to relax Hun. Take a book of wordsearches for you both to do to take your mind off it x
