In hospital & scared :(

Started bleeding heavily at 5pm and have been in hospital since. Can't have a scan until morning & am so scared my little un is in danger. I thought we were safe after the 12 week mark... so really trying to stay positive x

Had scan... And baby is perfect! The bleeding is from behind the placenta. Apparently I have a low placenta which has ruptured a little. Were not completely out of the woods but they said if I rest up & take it easy, the bleeding should cease & heal. We have another scan next week where they will assess the bleeding again.

Nurse said baby's brain, heart & organs appear healthy & were low risk for downs. Also found out............ It's a BOY!

Were so relieved & happy. Just got to take it real easy now & keep our little soldier safe.
