Sorry, I am becomming a post-aholic!!

I was just wondering if anybody else is or did imagine aches and pains, i am so worried that I am sure whenever I read something that is not good, I get that same ache or pain. I just read about shoulder pain in ectopic pregnancy-now my shoulder hurts :wall2: I am driving myself crazy. I dont know whether to worry that the pain might be real or to give myself a good talking to and tell my brain to stop overthinking everything!!! (i know this sounds like a mad thing but you know what i mean....i hope)
Some of my other real/imaginary pains are achey calf and pain in side (kind of where kidneys are)...

Sorry for the post, just had to express this-my OH just says dont worry (to everything) xx

the brain is a powerful thing and you sound like your making yourself into a hypochondriac. you can imagine yourself sick if you think it. i tend to go with the power of positive thinking, im fine untill i fall down lol. always gets me thru the tough times and illnesses if i totally deny their existence.

Stop googling and reading! It's easy to imagine the same pains. Just look at development of baby and your changing body information. Only look into something if you get a genuine pain, otherwise you will end up with every pregnancy symptom going! Try to drink lots as urine infections are very common in pregnancy and so are cramps, both caused by dehydration (I've had both this pregnancy!).

Thanks, I am going to take the positive thinking advice...its been 10 years since I was pregnant so hard to remember whats normal. I will stop googling-i know its the worst thing to do so dont know why I have been doing it. xx

I did it a lot at the beginning too, I even had a little break from here as I got so paranoid at one point! I'm like you but got nearly a 15 year age gap, didn't worry half as much last time, but then I didn't have the Internet back then!

Thats exactly what I was saying to my OH earlier, i didnt have the internet access back then and I think thats why I just got on with it...wasnt so aware of everything.
Good job I didnt ignore my symtoms tho as I went to the Dr and I have a kidney infection which can apparently be quite bad if left so Im glad I went with my instinct! xx
