I'm SOOO Pissed OFF

I've jsut checked my internet banking, and theres a pyment for £24 gone out to soem website i dont know, so i rang the bank, they cant tell me what it's for, i rang the paypal type company it was too they hung up on me when i said i had never seen their site before, rang again, to find it's a subscription for porn they're been taking outta my accoutn since november!!!!

Thats over £100 gone on a subscription i didnt even know i had, and have never used, after finding the site it was i realised that me and my ex had signed up to a 3 day trial way back then cos something looked funny (wierd reason i no we were interested lol) and in tiny writing at the bottom it says all things even 3 day trials automatically sign you up for a years membership

Seriously if you could see my angry face right now, im so pissed off, i cant even get on to my so called membership! I'm also so angry with myself that that much money could go going out of my acount each month without me noticing. I cant claim it back because it wasnt done fraudulently.

I'm jsut gonna cry cos i cant help think about all the things i could've got my baby rather then them taking it, i havnt been getting anything outta this, and neither has my ex.

I'm going to be religiously checking my acount from now on! GRRRRRRR

How annoying - it sounds a bit odd to me, how can a three day 'trial' automatically make you pay for a year's membership? Surely if you didn't like the trial you should be able to cancel? That is the idea of a trial isn't it?

Had you not realised and didn't cancel after 3 days...sorry pregnancy brain here!

Sorry this happened. But you are not alone in falling for this sort of thing.

All I can suggest is you cancel the direct debit online and leave them to argue the case with you. It may be you have to continue paying but offer to pay far less as you cannot afford to pay the monthly amount or something.

Is there no opt out clause anywhere? They should have some sort of thing where you can cancel. Check with trading standards etc about this sort of thing. Even if you have to pay a 3 month cancellation fee or something its still better than paying for a year.

I rang the company, had a go, and they cancelled it for me, i was not happy, they wouldnt even tell me which website it was for!! I was like HELLO its my money!!!!

Just so frustrating, i certainly wil lbe making sure i check every last penny that leaves my acount from now on!! If my friend wants porn he can get it himself lol
