ive recieved another letter from moorcroft debt recovery.

not from the 02 which ive had no end of problems from. (they took 2 payments on the same day and caused me bank charges ect)

but this time from TSB car insurance. i spoke to tsb on the phone on a number of occasions. and they assured me the matter was resolved and i needent pay them anything.

i havent heard anything from them in along time, and now i get this letter asking for £59.52.

i cancelled my insurance premium, and when argued that i needent pay a cancellation fee they agreed

i have emailed moorcroft and tsb regarding this. telling them im pregnant, have no job, have no benifits ect. and they are just causing me stress.

ive just applyed online for benifits from the job centre. so we will see what they say im entitield to.

but what can i do about this?

this is getting me down so much. everywhere wants money. and i dont have any.

i dont think this is very fair.

:(

The first thing I would do would be to ring TSB and get that you don't owe them anything in writing. That way if the worst happens and someone turns up on your doorstep you can show them the letter.
Also...tell TSB to get these people off your back pronto.

Good luck.

Do you have proof that you agreed to not pay the cancellation fee? and times and dates of the people you spoke to at the time or any emails that were sent?

Your better off calling people like that instead of emailing them cause they tend to ignore emails and then send you more letters asking for more money and threatening you with bailiffs.

The fact that you are pregnant, unemployed and they are causing you stress wont matter to them unfortunately, they will want the money regardless. You need to find all the proof and paperwork from the date the fee was cancelled.

i dont think they sent me a letter with it :(

ill have a look through all my documents. but a guy told me on the phone.

i havent recieved much from them at all really. this is why im so suprised by this.

god i hate these companys.

Why don't you go the CAB

A few years back my DH was having a bit of a bad time and was getting debt letters all the time. His auntie sugested going to see them so he did. They spoke to them on his behalf and explained the situation he was in and the debts got written off.

They could help?

hi. i thought about this with my 02 problems. i rang them to make an appointment. and they fobbed me off by sending me some leaflets out :(
