Im really scared..been in hospital today :-(

I went to work today feeling 'normal' the usual nausea and all that expecting the usual, busy, saturday in the travel agency that I work at.

It got to about 11.30 and I started to get a achey, cramp pain in the lower right side of my tummy and it got worse and worse and WORSE, so bad by about 2pm I was writhing around the staff room in agony. My boss called my mum cos she couldnt get hold of DH and my mum came in and collect me, (DH also had my car) and took me straight up to the local minor injuries unit at our small, town hospital. The nurse practioner examined me there and did a urine test to rule out a urine infection and then said he needed to send me to the county hospital for tests.

I arrived at the county hospital about 3pm and the pain was starting to die out a bit but was still there. The consultant felt my tummy and said they wanted to rule out appendicitis and an ectopic pregnancy. The did my bloods and they came back negative in relation to the appendicitis.

However, they havent yet ruled out an ectopic pregnancy and I have an early pregnancy scan on Monday at 12noon. Im SO SO scared....I really really dont want it to be ectopic, I want this baby so so much its unbelievable. I still have the pain tonight but its better than before.

Please pray for me for Monday..I so want it to be good news

Oh Jaidy how scary for you my lovely

A friend of mine had an ectopic and the pain didnt die down it just got worse and worse so if you can take some comfort from that then do so. Lets hope its just some cramping. In the meantime you take it easy and keep us posted xxxx Thinking of you my lovely x

i had the exact same thing as you lovely... at more or less the same stage too!

They have to be really thorough and cover everything. As someone has mentioned the pain continuing to worsen... a lady i know this happened too.

Oh Jaidy Honey, first of all a big , it must be very scary for you and very worrying. Look on the bright side if your pain and cramping has got less painful it is unlikely it is an etopic, you would also have severe pain in your shoulder. I know this won't reassure you much and until you get that scan tomo you are unlikely to relax. We all will be thinking of you tomo and hoping all is fine i'm sure it will be. Perhaps you have a bad case of urine/kidney infection so drink lots and get as much and rest if you can! Love Dust xxx
