I'm getting a sweep this morning!! U/D disappointed

I'm dreading it as well as being excited in case it starts things off! I've hardly slept all night.

Well I'm disappointed. MW couldn't do the sweep because my cervix is really posterier and behind baby's head so she couldn't get to it. She's coming again on monday to try again but if nothings happened I'll be booked in for induction on 22nd when I'm 42 weeks.

TBH I will probably refuse the sweep as I dont see it being much use! Try not to let it worry you and hopefully things will begin moving soon on their own!!

Try not to be too despondant hun.. I know it's easy to say. My cervix was in a wierd position too, but who knows, her even trying to find it could have shaken things up a bit, even if she wasn't able to do it properly xx
