Hello! I'm a newbie and just wanted to say hi. I'm 29 and my husband is 31. I was diagnosed with a painful neurological condition about 14 months ago. We've had a tough time but I've just found out that it is safe-ish for me to get pregnant so I've finally managed to convince hubby to get started and I'm so excited!! Apart from the obvious, I don't know much about the ins and outs of getting pregnant so I've got a few q's ( hopefully not too silly). Here goes...

1. When does the counting start when say you are 8 weeks pregnant - from ovulation, conception or your last period?
2. How long is a normal pregnancy, how many weeks would you be when you are due?
3. What should I be doing now - diet, supplements, blood tests? Any food I should be avoiding?
4. I've just started pilates, is it safe in the early stages of pregnancy??

Thanks for reading!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :D
