Really tired as I only managed to sleep from 11 to about 1.30 last night and then dozed on and off from about 5.00 am.... but now bed time is here my cough is still bad, my bump hurts and I have heartburn - Dave has just said he is off to bed and I am already worrying that I will be awake at 1.00!! I'm sure I am almost willing it on myself...... I have put the spare quilt by the sofa along with all the spare pillows incase I wake again so at least I have somewhere to come to.....

Just one good nights sleep and I'm sure I would feel so much better....... I cannot believe I have another 4 weeks to go yet :( :( I used to be such a happy person :(

   I know the feeling!! I hate goin 2 bed, I jst get sooo frustrated trying 2 sleep, I actually think I could sleep better during the day although have resisted this because I think if I sleep through the day I definately wont sleep at night but I havent had a gd nights sleep for months now. Suppose its jst gettin us ready for when baba appears  xx

 Jane I do hope you get a good nights sleep soon - the nights always seem so long when you can't sleep! I know you've probably tried everything but I when I can't sleep I try to think back to my earliest holiday/Christmas that I can remember and try and remember as much about it as I can people/places/weather etc etc - then work my way forward. Generally never get passed 2 lol!

Can't believe you only have four weeks to go - seems to have flown by - although probably not for you! Now its 2009 I'm in my 45th year (will be 45 next October) so think my ttc days are over -this was my last month of ttc really cause it would be due just before my 45th - shouldn't push it beyond that. Anyway not due until around 20th Jan and have red/pink wipe (sorry if tmi) yesterday, nothing on pad and nothing since but I'm certain its ruled me out - tiny hope of a miracle and transplantation but I don't get those sort of miracles and never bled at all with my others. So guess it wasn't meant to be, sad but not gutted, how can I be when blessed with my beautiful family!

   Anyway hope my little story helped with the lack of sleep :rotfl:

Can't wait to hear all about your little man - he'll be with you very soon! Take care.

xx

Im the same hun, i hate bed times as i know i8 wont sleep, the only decent sleep i get is if i get a nap in the afternoon, ill prob be up if ya wana chat

When i had that cough/cold thing nights were always the worst. I hardly coughed all day then as soon as I got into bed I was spluttering away! It will go away soon.... Hope you got some rest
xx

Hope you got some sleep hun. I've been sleeping on the sofa or on my own for about 6 months now- I find I sleep better anyway as I can squirm around and fuss with pillows and generally make noise at will and also my OH's snoring doesn't wake me up!

You'll be a happy person again, don't worry

As we were both awake at around 4am last night I'll take it you didn't get a good nights sleep again!! Hope you feel better soon and try and catch 40 winks whenever you can

Aww hope you get a good night soon !

Im feeling the same way, have had the cold nearly 3 weeks, keep thinking its away, but cough all night ! have heartburn too, its only really got bad last few nights, and bump is so uncomfy too ! its great being pregnant eh ! LOL !

Cute thing is my wee cat sleeps at my feet at the bottom of the bed ( she has only done this since ive been pregnant ) and when she wakes up and realises Im awake, she comes up to my bump and gives me a wee cuddle, till I fall asleep again ! or if I get up, she comes with me and if I go on sofa, she comes and cuddles me ! its ever so cute....

Think she will take it hard when baby comes, as she is a real wee spoilt thing ! :(

Oh hun you are not alone.........

Im usually in bed by about 10.30pm watching TV, as I can no longer get comfortable on the sofa!

It generally takes me an hour or 2 to get to sleep, and I wake numerous times through the night - in fact I would say that I no longer sleep I just nap through the night.....I get up at least 4 times for a pee, but also to relieve the stiffness and pain in my joints, or to take some more gaviscon. When I fall asleep the pain in my joints ensures I wake up everytime I need to turn over - which is usually every 30-40 mins!!! My bump is now agony, and so uncomfortable and I cannot physically bend anymore, and am about to stop driving as its just too uncomfortable (especially with bubs being breech).

I can sympathise entirely hun, but just think its not long now, and then we will be having no sleep for entirely different reasons :D

i feel the same way exactly.
ive developed OC and dread night times as the intense itching starts, and the pain in my hands from the CTS.I just want bubs here now.

Thanks everyone - its nice in a way to know you are not alone

Sans dont give up hope just yet honey - never say never

I have to stay up till 1 or 4 in the morning as otherwise I wont sleep as i am so awake. My bodyclock is so all over the place at the moment.

Sending you sleepy dust nd lots of

I dread going to bed too - i feel awful for keeping DH up half the night. He said that i spend the time i am in a "light" sleep wimpering in pain - it breaks his heart that he can't do anything to help me.

My back is well and truely knackered.. i've still got 13 weeks to go...
