Im back!
How is everyone doing!
Over the past couple of days I have nothing but BFN so its official pg gone!
Not bleeding yet though? would anybody have an idea when this will start!
I was initially gutted and upset but not much I can do about it now. so onwards and upwards and look forward to trying again!

xx

Hi hun, sorry your back   Well done for the positive thinking x x x

I don't know about the bleeding hun sorry but some one maybe able to help on that

hi hun, welcome back. sorry its under sad circumstances- hopefully ur stay will be quick!
not sure about the bleeding- very strange- always thought u would bleed straight away. did u test early in the first place- could it have been a chemical pregnancy? maybe someone else will know.
good luck!!
xxxx

It's not over til it's over sweetie. I'd strongly recommend you get it confirmed by blood tests. Get yourself down to the early pregnancy unit so they can check you out. As puds says, it might've been a chemical pregnancy.

When I had my m/c I started spotting 3 days before it actually happened.

xx

Thanks guys! I am an odd one I feel!

Defo no bleeding or spotting as yet!
I was going a bit test mad very early so knew before af was due anyway but I am now a week past my 30 day cycle and had been getting faint postive for at least a week but as of yesterday nothing! all BFN I have rung my doctors but don't have any appointments till next week but they have said they will ring me back just to talk and see. I think its possibly my body playing tricks on me chemically as even when I was getting the BFP I just didn't feel pg and in my own head I kinda think I will as weird as it sounds.

Il let you all know what the doc says when he eventually phones or when any bleeding starts etc!

Thanks for the support though!
xx

Hi hun

Really sorry to see you back here :(

Hopefully the doctors will be able to give you some more answers.

I don't know much about chemical pregnancies but when I had my m/c I didn't bleed until I started medical management. I had brown spotting which made me contact epu and when I went for my scan at 11 weeks I found out that bean had stopped growing at 8 weeks. So you don't always bleed straight away.

Really hope you get some answers and that you are ok

Thanks Tina & Gabs,
Can I ask what you mean by medical management? as im so new to this I don't really no what my options are and because my doc is clearly taking his time in getting back to me?

xx

Medical Management is when the miscarriage is not happening itself (i,e not bleeding) so I was give the option of taking a tablet to get things started and then had to go back into hospital 24-48 hours later for another one. It's a bit like being induced. It's to soften your womb so everything can come out.

Hope that makes sense and hope the dr gets back to you soon.

I found this link; hope you don't find it upsetting http://www.womens-health.co.uk/chemical.html

Take care

Oh, honey, I'm so sorry! Welcome back; wish it were under nicer circumstances!

No thats not upsetting
Thank you for your info, I hope you don't mind talking about it, but after you'd taken the tablets did all start pretty quick? and before you were given the tablets did you have to have blood tests etc its the waiting im just not very good at!
I can accept I have lost it but just want to get on with trying again.
xx

sorry to hear your news :(
hope you catch a sticky one next time :)

I am happy to talk about my experience hun.

I had a blood test taken after my scan; I really can't remember what it was for though, sorry :wall:

The bleeding started the following night at home; I still went to hospital on the Sunday but it had all gone the night before.

The waiting is most definitely the worst part; that is why I opted for medical management; they say you can wait and let nature take it's course.

You will probably need to go to EPU though to find out exactly what your situation is.

Take good care and get back onto them dr's

Thanks again!
Im going to get back onto them and see what they say!

xx

Hi there, sorry to read your news. I had a 5 wk mc last year, my first one after having had two normal pregnancies. I think in your position I would push hard for a Dr app as they will probably refer you straight to be scanned, that will tell you one way or t'other for definate then you can decide whether to wait to bleed or if there are other options. I was very lucky as my mc was not really any different to a very heavy period, i had a bit of pain but not much. the only thing that got me was the emotional bit, i couldnt stop blubbing, hormones i think!
Anyway, well done for being so positive and hope all goes well.
xx

Morning!
I have managed to get a doc appointment for 4pm today!
I slept rubbish last night I was just praying for the bleeding to start! I was seriously considering going to a&e just to make them tell me something or at least do something?
I have had a small amount of spotting but nothing worth getting excited about (if you can knowing the circumstances) Have just spoken to docs again and he is going to ring me this morning and fingers crossed hell ask me to go in straight away!!!

xxx

good luck hun- let us know how u get on

Just spoke to Doc on the phone.
He thinks its too early to go to hospital and thinks I should wait another week!
I don't want to!
Should I just go at a&e or is that taking it too far?

If I request medicinal help to get things moving how long does it usually take your body to recover?

xx

sorry to hear your news, hope you wont be back here for long
