I'm back - after almost TEN years!

I cannot believe it, but it has been almost ten years since I posted my last intro here, and about 8 years since my last post! How on earth did this happen?!

I don't expect any of the people from back then to still be here, but if anyone happens to recognise me: hello!

So I figured I'd better re-introduce myself. I'm Solveig, I'm 34 and currently TTC #2. I have a son born in 2006, he's just about to turn nine.

Since I was last here, a lot has happened! I used to live in Leicester - now I don't even live in the UK anymore. I split with my son's father after spending far too many years in a bad relationship, and moved back to Norway in 2008. I was single for many years, but then two years ago I met my current partner, who is the love of my life and the world's best step dad for my son (his father hasn't wanted any contact these past years, so my current partner is more of a dad to him than his real father ever was). We're now hoping to have another child or two, and have been actively TTCing singe August 2014.

I'll be 35 this year, and can really feel the clock ticking away!

Oh, my - so much fun re-reading my old posts and remembering people and events! I note that 24 year old me was a lot more relaxed about this whole babymaking thing than 34 year old me – as I waited to POAS until the day after AF was due last time

Awww welcome back! Your story is sort of similar to mine.

I have a 10 year old and at the time I was 25 and not as in tune with my body as this time round. I was worried about my fertility....but guess what....after 4 months of ttc I was in. I am now 16 weeks preggers!!! and It is more exciting.....so baby dust.

I had three kids and then a 9 year gap and since have 4yr old and 15 mth old boys from ttc in late 30's.

I am 10 weeks preg with a surprise!! At the grand age of 41- so don't worry about your age, your still a young thing x

Petchy, I'm sure I remember you! I was on the forum 10 years ago as well. I had my daughter in February 2006. I'm now the mother of another gorgeous wee girl who will be 5 months in a few days. Good luck on your journey. I found the forum just as great the second time round! Xx

Yay, another old-timer! I had my DS in February 2006 too, so we must have been on here at the same time.
