Waking up early is me getting ready for the baby and that I better get used to it I think I may just swing for them!!

my sleep patterns are all over the place but this is the second morning this week ii've been awake since 5 which annoys me as don't have to get up til 7

Weekends are no better as I seem to wake early then. Makes me feel
So rubbish as then at work I'm bloody knackered.

Early morning rant over!! Xx

Me too hun, I've been awake since 4!!!! so annoyed, it's my birthday today so hubby off and I get a lie in from getting up with my son, so much for that, I'm wide awake! I wake up between 4 and 6 most days and can't get back to sleep.

I know the feelin Hun. I keep wakin up between 3-3:30 with cramp and needing a wee and it's all ppl say to me. I swear I'll hit the next person that says it!!!

So glad I'm not the only one! Trouble is by the time I have to get up I feel ready to sleep again!

To be fair, i have found being pregnant alot more difficult than a newborn baby. At least when baby is here you can rest when baby does but while your pregnant it seems very hard to shut off. My first baby slept through from 6 weeks, and ok your tired but at least you are happy and tired xx

Ha! Still get told this regularly! Does my blumin head in!xx

this really annoys me BIG TIME!!
"you better get all the sleep that you can"
"your going to be so tired when the baby comes"
"you won't be able to do half the stuff you do now"
I feel like saying, you know what dipshit, obviously my life will change I AM HAVING A BABY, i chose to do this, however what i still can and cannot do is up to me, i don't plan on letting the baby rule my life and if i still want to go out, see friends, go to the theatre, see gigs etc. You know what i bloody well will do! i might just take the baby along to most of it (obviously not gigs etc, unless i get some cool ear muffs!) but the baby will do what i do as i will be its mother!
plenty of my friends have had babies who carry on as normally as possible, few of them stay in for the first two years or so

It all booharkey!!!! Yes you will be tired when the baby comes but it's not the same shattered feeling that you feel now it's totally different you can function! I think it's worse not sleeping and having to go to work than it is not sleeping and looking after a newborn!
