ok so im big enough, old enough and woman enough to admit when i need my mommy lol

my back hurts, ive a terrible cold, my house is a mess and i want my mom to come and look after me lol

pointless thread i know

Not at all, mum's coming with me this afternoon which I'm glad about cos she is much better in a crisis than my boyfriend and she always knows what to ask and say. She's the one I turn to first with everything, bit scary to think its gonna be me one day xxxxxxxx

Since I've moved back home me & mum do everything together it's great we have decided on all the baby stuff etc joined the local health club she's my birthing partner I really couldn't have been without her the past few months makes u realise how important they are to us! I'm just missing my sister now I want her to hurry back home from Spain :-)
To think we will have all our LO's worries to take on in the future scary but a nice feeling.
As much as me & mum clash she's also my best friend xxx

what makes it harder is me and my daughter moved back in with my parents for about 4 months after someone put my daughters bedroom window through but i have no relocated to be with my partner and its almost 200 miles from my mom, sheworks full time and i dont drive :(

Do you have skype? at least you could talk face to face xxxxxx

I know how you feel Roxanne.... My mum is all the way in Australia... I talk to her every few days on skype which helps but is not the same as having her here... Will have to wait until a month after baby is born for her to come over... then she is staying for 3 months. :-)

MIL are just not the same.... especially one that is so focused on what she wants rather then me....

I want my mummy....

OH does not understand either as he has never lived more then 10 minutes away from his parents...

us girlies will have to be each others online mommies lol

Sometimes nothing but a mum will do. Mine lives in France for 6 months of the year and has done for the past 5 years, and up until now I'd gotten used to it, but she's only been gone a week this time and I'm already in tears when I phone her!!! Stupid damn hormones!!! Worst thing is that my 12 week scan is at the end of Sept, over a month before she comes back, and god forbid anything is wrong, she won't be around for a good cry... My OH is brill but sometimes you just need your mum. Shame you can't rent them!!!

Oh my word, I could've written this myself. I want someone to look after me, OH is always out at work and is tired when he gets in (although he does cook to be fair). He keeps saying, 'you need to rest' but who is going to clean my flat, do the washing, ironing and the shopping then?
Rant over but a fairy godmother once in a while would be nice wouldn't it!

I want my mummy a lot too. She still takes care of me just like when I was a child.
I love her to pieces and she's always there for me when I need her.

Hope I'll be a great mum like her! :) xxx

im so so glad lots of you feel the same, i feel like a right baby for thinking it lol

I've lived in London for the past 2 yrs & just move back to Liverpool to be with my mum & family, I left my OH my MIL was great but not my mum plus she never had girls just boys! since I left my OH I have not heard a peep from her the evil witch well she's gonna miss out not us I even wrote her a letter giving her chance to contact but oh no. You just can't beat having your mummy...so girls I no that lonely feeling when all you Want is your mum I'm sending u lots of hugs! I used to phone my mum when OH wasn't there so I could chat properly but he couldn't understand that either xxx
