Ha, pregnancy brain rules!

Used the teatowel to get the haddock out of the oven and left it on the side, but think it must have been a bit too close to the hob where I was steaming the veg....

Next thing I know the bloody teatowel's on fire!!! Got it in the sink and got water on it and yelled for my OH who sent me out of the kitchen due to noxious fumes! Result! He had to dish up! Might try it again tomorrow.

I've NEVER done anything like that before :rotfl:

Oh dear :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
OH is cooking our valentine's meal for us. I've just been to the detist so we're having soup and then chocolate mousse so hopefully no flames with either of those! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lucky it didn't cause any damage, must have scared you a bit

The stupidest thing I've ever done in the kitchen is set a pan of chips on fire then try and put the flames out by chucking water on it! Result..flame thrower! How it didn't burn the kitchen down I dont know. I was only 17 and only just moved out of home. Around the same time my mum come round one day to find me eating undercooked eggs!

may i suggest a take away tomorrow night?!? :rotfl:

hello

i walked accross a restaurant with my skirt tucked up my knickers

pregnancy aye! what happens to our brains :)

Oh Bex.. At least all turned out to be ok and you didn't burn the house down!

On the plus side we live in part of a castle so I guess it would be quite hard to burn down all that stone?

Loved Tegala's reply about setting fire to the washing up!! Fortunately James is a sweetie and normally does that anyway, and we managed to buy a dishwasher last month too so woohoo!

Ginny, sounds like your Validay meal was as embarrassing as mine!!
