ladies i feel real bad now i still haven't told my dad, everyone knows in my family expect my dad....

that's so bad, we don't see each other a lot a tall, last time i saw him was september

ladies i'm i really bad for not telling him??

please give me some advice on how to tell him.. now that i'm nearly halfway??

maybe send him a copy of scan pic when you go for 20 week scan . If you haven't felt able to tell him then its not all about you...don't beat yourself up about it

that's a good idea... but i don't even know his address.. i know where he lives but not the address

Just call him & tell him - you'll feel better once its done, or text him for his address......then you can post the scan pic.

I only see my dad twice a year, I just phoned him up & told him over the phone that he was going to be a grandad

Neeko, I think the way I would tell my dad would depend on how close or not I was to him and what kind of relationship we had.

We only told DP's parents at new years and we see them all the time.

I'm afraid the longer you leave it the harder it gets. In the end we just blurted it out!

If you don't see him that much and he's not returning your calls then perhaps a text is the only way. I guess it's not ideal but then at least you are getting the message across one way or the other... and I'm sure he'll want to know.

I agree it does get harder the longer you leave it. I still haven't told my work/boss!

I've not told my mom yet, we don't really get on so well and I haven't seen her since new years eve. Suppose I will have to tell her soon enough but you're right, it's harder the further along you get.
