Years ago when I was about 21 I bought ciggies from asda, walked to the front door and realised I didnt have a lighter so went back in, was served by the same woman and she ID'd me for the lighter as for ciggies you have to be 16, but you need to be 18 for lighters!!

I got IDed before xmas buying wine - I am just 29! I told the woman that she had made my day and then told everyone that I saw for the next month!

i always got my mum and dad cigs for xmas from when I was about 12 and didnt get asked for id. The only time I eve got asked for ID as on my 18th birhtday in hom bargins ( Bying wine to drink beofre goining out) lukly at the time i always carried my pass prt but was really embrresed by being asked, i;d love to be aksked now ( 28 + 10 mnths)
My mum always looked younger than she is, I think because she is small ( 4'10) afeter I was born ( when she was 26) someone knocked on the door and seked if her mum was in and my dad took my mum to the cinma once and got asked " are you sure shes old enoght" to which he had to asnwe " I hope so , we've been marriedf 5 years"

I never get ID'd but whenever salespeople knock on the door I always get asked if my Mum or Dad are in
I usually say i'll get my Dad and shout of OH.

I turned up for a school governors' meeting last week (I'm the LEA-appointed governor) and 2 women sitting at a table in the foyer asked if I was there for the sixth form open evening

My fellow governors found it funny, I was not amused. I'm 32...

How lucky are you!!! But I bet that was sooo embarrassing hehe
