I DISLIKE MY HEALTHVISITOR - IDIOT!!!!

*RANT TIME*

My health visitor is the same woman that i had with Kade, we just got transferred over from midwife care today and the midwife was like 'she'll call you this afternoon!', right good.

I dislike the woman anyway, because when i was going through my postnatal depression with Kade i kept avoiding her, and in my opinion, she should have pushed to see us/me/Kade to make sure everything was okay in the home etc but she didn't, eventually i made an appointment with her, and she didn't show up.

So.. yeah, i haven't seen her since Kade was 2 years old. Fast forward to today...

Her - "Hello can i speak to Iain please?"
My OH - "Iain doesn't live here anymore..."
Her - "Oh, erm?.. Iain Nicholson?"
My OH - "Yeah..."
Her - "I'm actually looking for Lori who had baby Logan?"..
My OH - "I'll get her for you!"
Me - "Hello?"
Her - "Hi, Lori, you've just had baby Logan?"
Me - "Yes..."
Her - "I'm your health visitor, Alison.. is it okay if i come see you Thursday?"
Me - "Yep, no problem!"
Her - "Okay, here's our number incase you have any problems before then... *NUMBER*.. so, how are you finding it? quite traumatic isn't it?'"
Me - *Laughs* "No actually i'm finding it better than last time.."
Her - "Oh... so Logan isn't your first?".


Ehhhhhhhhh... #1, Iain is my ex and how would they have his name on file already if i didn't have another, previous child? #2 SHE CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER ME #3 ASKING ME IF IT'S TRAUMATIC WOULDN'T BE HELPING ME IF I WAS SENDING MYSELF WILD WITH POSTNATAL DEPRESSION

you can demand to have a new hv! why start off on a bad note, just start afresh with a new one.

Ive got a different one to last time (my old one left when alice was just under a year old and i was never given a new one). She seems lovely so far.

I did however have the same worries about my named MW, but she hasn't forgotten about me this time around (so far!).

omg what a dunce your hv is, 1 i'd complain about her rudeness etc... and 2 i'd ask for another health visitor for sure well that's what i'd so if i was you
