I bought it, should I start it?

Ok girls, im having a complete pain of a time with my body after my mc which was way back on the 18th Feb. I spotted every two weeks till May 9th and then I have had nothing. Counting that as my af Im now cd 50!!! Done ic hpt several times and BFN so that isnt the reason unforunately!

I had been using clearblue digital opks but ran out as they are so expensive so now using cheapie opk's. Got no smiley face on the digital and no line as dark on the cheapie. Although 2 weeks ago I did get lines for a change for maybe 4 days but none as dark as the control. They have now gone to nothing. If Im honest I have to wee a lot. I never go over 2 hours without having to go and my wee is always very light in colour so I think its generally very diluted.

Anyway I boughT Acnus Castus from Holland and Barrat so Im wondering if you think I should just start taking it now as there seems to be no sign of my af? I have read you are supposed to stop post ov but I dont know when I ov'd. Could it help bring on ov or my af?

Pre mc I was regular as clockwork getting it on the 26th or 27th of the month and peaking cd 19 using my cbfm all happy but I cant use it till I get a proper af!!!! I have the dr tomorrow but she has been a bit hopeless in the past thinks Im an internet nutter who reads too much!

So long story short should I take the Agnus Castus or not???? Opinions please?

I'd say probably wait to take it until you know you've actually had AF.

Just a thought but is there any chance you are PG?

No I have done ic's a couple of times. Last one on Thurs and no lines. Also Im still doing opks every day and no lines now on those which seem to be good indicators of a BFP too. Just body being an absolute pain!

Thanks girls I appreciate your replies!Just thinking waiting 5 months to get a proper af back is a bit ridicolous! Its too long even compared to the max advice in books and articles on mc. Hope the dr will help me! I really have had it.

Crikey Laurat, that really sucks. I had mc the week before you, and af came 24 days after d&c. Had 28-32 day cycles since. Really doesn't sound right to me that its been so long for you, so dr should help! Did you change or are you sticking with the horrible one??

Its not nice going cycle after cycle without getting preggers again, I know after the mc just wanted it to happen asap, but it must be so much worse for you.

With regards to agnus castus - my sister is a herbalist and reckons it only helps to support the cycle if it exists already, but I don't know much about it myself.

Thanks flistebbs! I am still with the horrible dr but if she doesnt take me seriously Im going to put in a complaint and demand another dr. I didnt have a d@c as I was left to pass everything naturally so not sure if that has posed a problem! It definetly isnt right and Im scared theres something major wrong but I have to know either way. The not being able to actually actively try with a cycle is driving me crazy!

Ill hold off on the acnus castus at the moment I think. Till I get my af whenever that will be!

Laurat sorry to hear about mc, I would def wait until your sure when af is before starting ag. Maybe speck to a pharmacist or get some advice from your gp about it. I hope af turns up soon fx x
