So, had my HSG and although my tubes are clear I have a uneven uterine lining and now have to wait 2 weeks whilst a radiograhper 'reads' the images and writes a report for my GP. Anyone else experienced this or know what it is or what it means? Thanks ladies x

Not really sure what it means... not from personal experience anyway.

I mean, i've read about thing like fibroids (benign tumours) that can make the surface uneven, but i'm not sure what impact they have on fertility and the treatment can be quite extreme.

It's got to be news that your tubes are clear though :)

Thanks LouiseB, have done some research into it but it all sounds quite scary and complicated (Google is a terrible thing sometimes!!!) so will wait for Dr to explain it to me. But yes, positive that my tubes are clear :)

Oh dear, tubes are what i am having tested next. I will have to do some research. I'll let you know if i learn anythign relevant to above info. x

An uneven uterine lining won't stop you from conceiving and carrying full term :)
My mother has a heart shaped womb n I'm still here walking around like a nutter.
You may find it a Lil difficult and the only probes that may (not always) occur is that it may cause u discomfort when baba is growing or the placenta could detach itself (rare) but happens. Speak to the sonographer and the gynaecologist and see what they say x
