...bigger does your bump get in the last 4 weeks?

Cos I dont think mine can get much bigger at all

Sorry hun - you'll be amazed at how much bigger it will get. The baby doesn't really get much longer now, it just puts weight on - it all amounts to a bigger bump I'm afraid....

I've had enough today, I really have. Weeks and weeks of constant comments from people about how big I am has taken its toll, I've even kept Josh off nursery today cos Im sick of going out of the house only to have people tell me Im massive.

I had to go to Argos this morning and the woman who served me said it looks like Im having twins.

All I want to do is cry and lock myself in the house til I've had him

They're very inconsiderate people, just you remember what that bump is, and don't feel upset about it, your LO loves your bump, it's keeping them happy, warm and safe, and as long as you, Josh and OH are happy, never mind those comments

yeh hunni forget them...remember what i said about slapping them... just do if you get arrested it doesn't matter because your pregnant and they'll let you off

My bumps always gone loads bigger in the last month. I heard too that the baby doesn't grow much after you have gone over due. Mine did, well my bump did. While I was over due with Aimee I got about 20 new stretch marks.

well said redshoes - sod em!!!! people have no idea how to react around pregnant woman! Just ignore them honey (easier to say than do)

A guy at work keeps on calling me tubby. He has done since I first announced I was pregnant and it really pees me off.... I just grit my teeth and count to ten now as the more you react the more people make comments I find.

That's so nasty people should keep their comments to themselves sometimes. People keep saying how small I am and that I should get the due date checked again and that's starting to really annoy me...I'm a fairly skinny person in general so I dont think I was ever destined for a large bump.

Don't worry about them Kirsty, just let them be and forget em.

I know how you feel topbird, the shopkeeper over the road thinks its hilarious to call me Pork Chop every time he sees me

I tell myself that it DOES NOT matter what people say or think but I've always been self conscious and I let peoples opinions get to me. Its really getting to me now though, if I could I wouldn't leave the house for the next month!

Ahh Kirsty I know how you feel I just don't know why people are so rude?? It's like they think they can say what they want just coz we are pregnant!

Some woman at work said I'd need a hole cut out of my desk so I could still fit in it soon!

I got a bit worried about growing more when the doc said I was already measuring 38 weeks!

I know, I've read that weight gain usually slows down or stops (for us, not the baby lol!) from about 36 weeks.

I cant remember what mine was like last time but its getting bigger by the day this time and doesnt seem to be slowing down any!

i get people looking at me cause my bump looks small and in a shop a shop assistant said to her other assistnt is she pregnant, he replied yes. guess he can read and she cant as i was wearing a maternity top i bought from peacocks saying : bump on board stupid woman tell they hire the right ones for the cheapy shop

I know EXACTLY how everyone feels. I'm getting really fed up of peoples comments too. Idiot bloke over road keeps shouting 'oh, you're getting big now aren't you?' and it is getting on my nerves. What does he expect? There's a growing baby in there I'm not going to bloody shrink am I? My son's friend's dad came up to me in the car the other day and said 'ooh, let's have a look at how big you are' I felt like telling him to eff off. I went to Tesco the other day and bumped (pardon the pun) into 3 women I know and they all went on about my belly, 'ooh, look at your bump now, it's coming right on isn't it?' They should know better being women I would never say stuff like that to a pregnant lady I always say 'you look great' and that's about it. People are just idiots and I have had enough. My MIL even said 'hello tubby' I felt like hitting her honestly. I'm going to stay in from now on and happily expand until I have my baby.

Sorry. Have you heard me moaning??!!

mine is growing faster as well, now my belly button has came right out and the stretch marks are getting longer so sorry you feel like that but not long to go now, just try to ignore what other peoples comment and concentrate on thinking about what u r going to get in a few weeks time.

Women who have been pregnant tend to forget just how big THEY got. It is upsetting, my friend said to me the other week OMG your massive (doesnt help) I was never that big, my SIL piped up (thank god) no you were bigger
Made me feel better. All women are different depending on how they are carrying. Although I do feel huge my Mum told me I am not as big now as when I was near the end with Josh.
Big and dont listen to them
