How much longer like this

Hi I am currently 39 weeks and 3 days, I have had constant back ache and period type pains for the past 2 days and irregular contractions but very rare I go even an hour without at least one. I haven't had a show that I know of. Any idea how long this will go on for and am I in the early stages of labour? im getting impaitent now lol

Hi Lesleyann,

Welcome to PF. Don't really have an answer to your question, although it does sound like early labour. But I've read some of the girls on here have had period and back pain for days before they go into labour.

are theses pains constant or coming and goin ?

I had irregular period pains for a few days before they became regular and had the baby not long after. I would say it's early labour and could happen soon for you.
