Hi ladies I am new to the forum thing but thought It might help to talk to others who know how i feel.

Me and my partner are TTC no2, we have a DS who is almost 4, he was not planned and I had a caseran. We have been TTC no2 for 2 years and 4 months and so far no luck. At 2 years I decided to seek help. Boyfriends test was all good and I’ve had blood tests and internal scan which showed good. Yesterday I had the hycosy test, which showed up both my tubes are clear.

My cycle is 30 days regular and I normaly get my smiley for OPK in day 17. Hospital have said that there’s no reason why we can not conceive naturally and I’ve been marked as ‘unexplained infertility’. They said my next steps would be IUI or IVF which I would have to fund myself.

What’s are your stories? Hopefully we can spread some baby dust to eachother xx

Welcome to the forum. I've not got any kids and been trying almost 11 months. My friend took 2 years for her 2nd baby...keep trying and good luck!

I'm so sorry....I know it's frustrating. We've been TTC for 2 yrs and 4 months but I was very overweight for a lot of that. Only recently got down to a healthy weight. I've had internal scans and all is fine...my OH is going to get a sperm test soon. I found out recently that sometimes I ovulate before the cheap opk positive. I think we are timing it right now.

I really hope it happens for you soon. x

I've been ttc no2 for 4 months and I'm 1dpo today (I think)!! Took us 4 months with no 1 so I'm hoping we will catch soon but who knows. My periods are 28-35 days - were 28 prior to ttc no2 and all of a sudden they've lengthened to 35 days so no idea what's going on. I ovulate around d22/23! I hope we all get our positives soon x

Hi ladies! Thank u all for your supportive messages.

I no it’s hard but we have to stay positive as I am the same every month I loose hope and get depressed. I’m really gonna go for it this month make sure I have sex every day or 2 as soon as my AF is done, take the folic acid and vitamins each day, eat healthy. If anyone has some good tips then share them :) I’m not majorly overweight but slightly outside my bmi. To be a good weight and comfortable with myself I’d need loose a stone. But when I get depressed I eat and it becomes a vicious cycle lol

It’s nice to know I’m not alone with my struggle. It becomes frustrating when everyone around u just falls at the drop of a hat. I think why can’t it be me announcing it? :( xx

All the best of luck to you Pop, you can and you will do it xx

I know sometimes it can feel like everyone else around you is pregnant but next time you hear/see someone announcing their pregnancy just think to yourself that for that 1 person there is probably 10 that are trying/struggling to conceive but simply don't advertise it x

I remember being very impatient when we were trying for DD; one month I would do OPK and schedule bd for the whole month (oh was delighted...not:D) and when all it got me was a bfn, I would change tactics just to get a bfp again and so on and so on and so on!!!

Honestly best advise I ever got was 'It will happen when it happens'. You are doing all the right thing. Take your vits, eat healthy (ish, we are all naught from time to time!) and BD regularly. You will get your BFP xx
