My friend is now in slow labour :cheer:

She's been told she can go to hosp when contractions are 5 mins apart...
they are now 6 mins apart and she was wondering how long it can take to go from 6 to 5 mins if that makes sense?

Any opinions gratefully received

Thanks :D

It all depends. I had a very fast labour and by the time I first timed it they were already 3mins apart and that was only about 3/4hr after the first contractions.

eating high calorie foods can speed up labour so tell her to drink milk shake or chocolate or somethng,
