how long to take bottle?

My LO was taking ages to feed approx 1 hr to take4- 6 oz. I then tried a faster flow teat and he has drunk 6oz and burped in 12 mins !! this has happened on all his feeds today .Just woundered how long your babies take to feed ?, im now thinking he is taking his milk too quickly . I cant win thanks x

I dont bottle feed but i'd say dont time it, if baby is comfortable & happy with the flow of the milk then im sure it will be fine he would let you know if it was too fast i think.

If its to fast it will spill our their mouth and they will normally cry in anger. also if there is exsessive gulping. Lily takes a bottle in about 10mins happily

Hannah used to take anything up to an hour and a half to drink her bottle

Caelan takes forever! He takes 4ozs in an hour! I end up nodding off waiting!

Our lo has always been a fast drinker.

He was taking 8oz in 7 minutes a couple of weeks ago with the 3 months + teats by Avent. I have now changed him back to 1 month + teats and he now takes 10 - 15 mins.

He seems much happier, and his reflux has improved a great deal. xxx

about 30 mins for 6oz , on the faster teat it would be about 15 mins but half would spill out everywhere

I give Morgan the occasional bottle when we're out and he drinks 6oz in 12 mins, by comparison Isla used to take 35 mins to take the same amou nt.
