How long should I leave it before I badger them again?

I was meant to have my scan and an appointment with the consultant at 18 weeks. By 16 weeks I still had not had a date through for either. My midwife was concerned, so she rang the ante-natal clinic to chase them up.

I'm now almost 19 weeks and I still haven't heard anything, so I called my midwife, who was appalled and told me to ring them direct. I rang them this morning, and they took my number and said they needed to get my file out, then they would call me back. It's now almost 5pm, and I still haven't heard from them. Should I just wait to get an appointment through the post, or should I keep badgering them on the phone until I get a date through?

I don't want to be a pain about it, but I think I've been patient enough, really.

ild phone them first thing in the morning hunni x

thats really bad, i hadnt heard any thing by 17weeks so i phoned them up and they got me an appoint ment the next day, i wud phone them again, shout at them lol only joking:)

i would ring them again (tomorrow morning if they aren't open now). Hope you get that appointment soon

You should just keep on at them, this is your health and for they are being incompetant.

sod the phoning up.
go down in person to the department at the hospital and tell them that you're not leaving the department until you've been scaned or been given an appointment. Kick ass girl!

What budge said!

I'm with Budge on this one. This is such an important scan, and it is fantastic to see your LO looking like a baby, and not just a blob like the 12 week scan. Get down there and stage a sit-in!!!!!
