How long for periods to regulate ..

I dont 'think' they regulate when BF - I could be wrong. Mind you I stopped BF really early on and then got coil when he was 4-5 months and even then they only regulated about 10 - 11 months!
 
You have an increase of progesterone atm because you are producing milk... its the same hormone that thickens the lining of the uterus in preparation for pregnancy so you will have heavy periods more often.... once you stop bfing it takes around 6 months for your hormones to regulate unless you take the pill.
