how long after having a show did you go into labour?

Hi girls

As some of you know I had a show last night....so I was just wondering how long after your show did things start to happen for you? And what should I look for next?! I know chances are it will be ages and ages until anything happens for real but it always helps to know what happened to other's so I can be prepared for all eventualities

I never had a show...

Saying that, my waters broke, so might have got washed out with that lot while I was laying in bed Urgh!

Sorry I cant help any more, my friend had a show in the morning, went into labour the next morning, and had her baby about 3 days later.

Mine was 45minutes after contractions started. Went to hospital 45mins after that, then baby as born just under 2 hours after i got to hospital.

I got my show at 38wks, and still needed to be induced!!! Ended up having Arianna 40+13

I didn't have a show on my first. On my second I had a show at 2 p.m, the midwife asked me to describe it and she said it sounded like the full plug had come away. Went to hospital at 6.30 p.m and was told to 'go for a walk' (go away for as long as you can basically!) Ricky was born at 10 p.m after a very short labour, I'd been having contactions most of day but waters didn't break til 9.30 p.m.

I had a show at 10.00am on the Tuesday and my waters broke at 2.00am on the Wednesday, Chloe was born at 11.00 that evening. Chloe was born two weeks early. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I had tiny little bits for a week then a huge show about half hour before my waters broke on monday night and Bailey was born on wednesday morning at 38 + 6

I had a show at about 39 weeks but it wasn't bloody. I didn't go into labour until 41 weeks.

The first bit of my bloody show happened on the Thursday afternoon (I lost more through the night and the day after) and my contractions started at 7am the next morning

I had a show at 9am - 5 hours before I went into labour, and another a couple of hours after contractions had started. I'd also had a sweep at 11am, though.

Both of my shows were fairly unimpressive, though. I was expecting something jellyfish like

With both my babies, the show was the very first sign of labour for me, and contractions started very shortly after. In both cases i had my baby within hours of losing my plug! Good luck hun x

mine was coming away bit by bit for about 2 weeks before had lyla, but my biggest blob was 2 days before i had her, prob bout as much help as a chocolate teapot that info sorry!
