Hey everyone? I thought I would start a thread to share ideas of how to entertain your baby at different ages. :) I could certainly use some suggestions? Currently my LO is almost 5 weeks old. I read to her, sing to her, have tummy time, activity mat time, and show her around the house and tell her what everything is. I also show her different toys and make the crinkly ones crinkle with her hands. What do you do to stimulate your lo?

My LO(s)
Joshua 2years1month - jigsaws, cars, lots of drawing & stickers & painting. He does a fair bit of independent play. Toddler groups, he LOVES reading books he plays on his iPod.... Helps me with housework also lol other stuff too just can't think off top of my head

Dylan 6weeks (tomorrow) - tummy time, playmat , swing, listens to stories when I read them to Josh, & not much else ATM tbh, just watching me play with Josh or watching me clean ...

Xxx

Lo 13 months: We go swimming once a week, toddler group (even though he doesn't toddle lol), go out to the park on his trike, aquarium, go to the farm, go to the beach, go shopping (he loves being in the shopping trolley), visit friends who have kiddies, go to soft play indoor places. When at home, we do jigsaws, play with toys, read books, chase the cat lol, play in the garden, hes amazed by the seagulls when we are in the garden lol, watches me cook/clean, he loves having a bath so that's always an option for a bit of fun time xxxxxxx

Harry is 6 weeks but is very alert so we play in his bouncy chair singing and dancing (me making him dance) to nursery rhymes, play on his play mat, showing him and getting him to touch his toys, having him laying on the floor in front of me and doing massage/nursery rhymes on his belly and legs, taking him for walks and showing him stuff, sitting him on my lap and letting him look around from my perspective.

M 13 months: books, toddler sense, monkey music, farm, feeding the ducks, baths, gigglebellies, singing, dancing, dolls, soft play, ballpit, park im sure theres more

Lewy is 6 weeks, his favourite things at present are to watch me hoover and for some reason listen to me sing. Not interested in toys at the moment but has lately started looking at the TV he watched never mind the buzzcocks yesterday for a good 10 minutes and I wasn't about to stop him.

My oldest is 9, I give him a key and tell him to be back by 6.30pm. It all changes so fast!
