how are all our OH's feeling at this stage now its getting near?
mine is getting quite worried, mainly as he doesnt know what hes meant to do when the time comes, if he will be any use to me and if he will make a good enough dad.

how are yours feeling?

He's such a placid man at the best of times that i'm sure he will take it all in his stride while i bark orders and get in a tiz
He's very excited about us having the baby but also worried about me and the section :(
I guess what will be will be and he will cope as he will have to :shakehead:

Mine is just the same as always. I've asked him if he's getting anxious at all, and he's so blasé about it. "nope" he says whilst shrugging.

Cool as a cucumber that one.

When I was in labour with DD he kept falling asleep lol.

My hubby has been placid through the whole pregnancy this time but is getting a bit het up with the baby due so soon in our current situation, cant blame him though.
He will be ok once shes here and all settled down x

I will say my DH has been really good since finding out ive been pregnant .

He wont let me life a finger .

In one way it gets on my nerves because i cant do anything because he will say ill do it you sit down and relax , i think he doesnt realise how boring it is .

I do appreciate it dont get me wrong but there is times i feel as though ive got to go something what now with me starting the nesting period .

Now its getting so close to the end i think DH is excited but you know men they dont like to show there feelings .

Ill say to him you excited he will say yep but im trying not to think about it has you have another 4 weeks to go and it will go sooo slow if i think about it . :rotfl:

Men !!!!!

wend you're so lucky - mine still expects me to carry heavy shopping and stuff, same as ever. I'd rather have a bloke like yours lol!

My DH is very very excited :D This is our first and I think we're both in a fantasy world at the mo thinking she will be a perfect angel...oh the horrors to come!! :?

Mine is like a fussing mother hen....I'm constantly being asked if I'm ok, told to rest or being brought home little surprises!! Bless him, I honestly couldn't ask for more. Were both extremely excited about our LO's pending arrival! :cheer:

He is so excited to meet his son or daughter. He wont let me do anything too strenous (sp) but keeps telling me to 'get nesting' :rotfl:

He is going to be an amazing dad. Sometimes I think he's gonna be a better parent than me, however he difinately doesnt have any parenting instincts and when I see him with my nephew sometimes i feel worried lol

The other day we picked him (nephew) up from nursery, the woman said he didnt have his tea and only had 2 oz milk before dropping off to sleep. OH was trying to stop him from being greedy gave him some food, then took it away even tho the poor thing was starving. OH couldnt figure out why he was screaming his head off!! :wall:

My OH is like a kid on christmas morning! He is so excited about the baby arriving he tells me everyday how much he is looking forward to meeting her. I feel lucky that he is so enthusiastic and keen to being a Daddy :cheer:

My OH had me in stitches last night....

We were sat watching TV when he turned to me quite seriously and said "don't you think its wierd that you and me ACTUALLY made a baby?"

I looked at him quite peturbed by the fact things only just seem to be sinking in when he then went on to say "I mean, You...........and Me? Imagine the potential!!??"

I had to laugh at him, what a big head!!!! :rotfl:

Same here, mine keeps talking to the bump and saying he can't wait to meet it :)

Followed by 'ooh you're gonna cause mommy a lot of pain aren't you' in a child like funny voice.. Argh!

But he is really excited. He tends to hide his emotions a lot so if I can tell he's excited then he must be :) He's given up a few things already, which I think gets him down sometimes, but deep down he's really looking forward to it.

Aw Piglet  Some men just dont get it until they're holding baby for first time :D

Mine does that too
The other day we was watching the telly when the baby really booted me hard it really made me jump and my reaction was 'ouch you little sod' and my OH turned round wagging his finger at my stomach and said 'stop being so nasty to your mum' It's just the way he said it in a really harsh voice like he was actually telling a naughty kid off :rotfl:
When we're in bed at night he likes to fall asleep with his hand on my belly because he likes feeling the baby move and kick as he's drifting off awwww

Aww what a sweetie  When LO kicks me really hard and I jump, my DH says 'naughty Maddison' while shaking his head :D

My DH is sooo excited he can't wait - he ironed all the baby clothes and sheets and stuff even the little scratch mitts the other night and kept saying I can't believe we're having a baby :D

Me, my DH and the littler man all got into our bed this morning and with the racket they were making the baby started kicking and seemed to be having a right party in there!
DH put hid hand on my stomach and felt her move around and she kicked him whereever he put his hand and he said the more he felt her move the mre real it was becoming for him and he said it was 'nice' to feel her, which is a lot coming from him.
Cant complain though i didnt have to get out of bed till half 9!

My OH is excited but also getting a little tired of waiting I think. I feel a bit more laid back about when the baby comes but he thinks every little ache or twinge means I'm going into labour. :|

He's going away this weekend Fri-Sun and is worried I might go into labour whilst he's gone. Funny that he's not so worried to cancel his trip! LOL. I jokingly told him if I go into labour I won't tell him in case it spoils his weekend. :D He didn't like that much.

I'm starting to worry - apparently my OH said to one of our friends that surely having a baby won't be much different to getting another dog
