I have to see a doctor tomorrow to check the mole on my back. My GP said he doesn't think it's anything to worry about, but has sent me there to have it removed.
Good luck with that. You'll have to let me know how they do it, if you're having it removed.
I'm covered in them on my back. I want 2 of them removed and the 1 on my top lip gone too. Apparently i have to have that 1 shaved though as it'll deform my lip.
ive had 3 removed, one on my forehead and two on my right cheek (face )
it really doesnt hurt - they numb it then they used a "shave" technique as thats the one that leaves least scarring..
it just goes scabby (flat) afterwards and within 3 weeks it was just like healing skin
im actually needing to go about another one.. but im uber embarrassed as its between my boobs... sayin that they've seen my foo hahaha i have no dignity anymore
Cool. I have a big 1 on my top lip and not too long ago was used against me while i was being bullied! Been self conscious anyway without it being pointed out numerous times. Just want it gone.
I used to have two on my back and had them removed the other year but the stitches went funny in one of them so the scar's not that great but it still looks loads better than the mole that was there
Well I had it checked out...nothing serious thank god! I will admit I was a teensy bit concerned as I used to sunbathe loads a few years back and also had horrible sunstroke/sunburn in Australia some years ago.
The doctor is sending me to have it removed though as it can be a bit irritating. It sits under my bra and itches sometimes.
Just have to wait for the appointment to be sent through
Same happened with me with a mole I had on my bum a couple of years ago! I had had it for as long as I could remember but it suddenly started hurting, itching and bleeding so off to doctors I went who refered me to specialist at the hospital. They said it looked fine (that was after saying 'oh that is a big one!!' ) but would remove it to be on the safe side and to get it biopsed.
Seriously it does not hurt at all! My butt cheek was numbed, never felt a thing and it was funny when it wore off. I was walking around a garden centre with my dad and I was jumping about! I'll admit that it was a tad painful for a few days afterwards and was bleeding quite a bit but my mum (yes my poor old mum!) cleaned it everyday and put on a fresh dressing twice a day! Thank god for mothers!
Only bad thing is my mole is growing back so I've had to go back to doctors who are waiting until I've had the baby to refer me again. I'll probably just get it removed again.
