Hello ladies :),

I'm going to Portugal with Will on Wednesday (totally stressing about the amount of stuff I've got to take)
He'll be 6 months old that day and I was wondering if anyone knows if I should give him bottled water or cooled boiled water to drink?
I'm sure I saw somewhere that btled has too much sodium. Anyone got any suggestions?
thanks

lol, that is a long pregnancy. Go to top of page, quick links and there is an option to edit signature :)

Sorry cant help with the water issue.

You can get really low sodium bottled water. That's what I used for first time went abroad when eldest was just 6 months. All the bottles have their sodium levels on them and just get the really low one.

Like you I had heard that you shouldn't give bottled water to babies - but I found this on the NHS website
If you have to use bottled water to make up a feed, check the label to make sure that the water contains:
less than 200 milligrams (mg) a litre of sodium (also written as Na)
no more than 250mg a litre of sulphate (also written as SO or SO4
Hope this helps and good luck with the packing LOL!
