I probably shouldn't be here yet, as my DH is not quite yet on the TTC train, but I couldn't help myself.

I've had babies on my mind for over a year now, and I think it's starting to make me a bit mad. I feel like my clock is ticking, and I'm only 26....that can't be good.

But at any rate, my DH I think it slowly coming around to the idea of starting a family. He told me the other night that he's actually taking notice of babies when he's out, and he's been thinking of baby names! Positive sign!

Has anyone else had to battle a scared DH/OH? It's such a long process, and I just want to get started NOW!! Why won't he cooperate!

Errrm, sorry for the mini-rant. I really did just want to say you all seem like such a lovely bunch, and I hope some day soon I can join you guys in the other forums on the quest for baby!

Hello! Sounds like you're working on your OH nicely. Good luck with wearing him down and TTC! I'm afraid I have the opposite problem - my OH would gladly have 10 if I'd let him! 4 is IT tho (I think!)

I picked up Toni Weschler's "Taking Charge of Your Fertitlity" and have been reading that while biding my time until my hubby is all set to go. Very interesting book! I've been sharing little tidbits here and there with DH, although I don't think he was too thrilled with the full color cervix and CM pictures.

When my time comes, I will definitely be charting. I know a lot of TTC is left up to chance, but I'd like to stack the deck as much as possible. I'd start charting now, but I'm on the Pill ( ) and I think that makes the whole process a bit pointless.

We have a couple of mates who are due within the next few months, and I'm hoping that once he talks to the dads a bit, and they tell him how they really don't mind all the crying, and diapers and lack of sleep...and how amazing being a father is, he'll come around (phew! how's that for a run-on sentence ).
