is it true that its bad for you to wear high heels when pg?

It's a very old fashioned belief that it somehow tilts your womb, but I've heard it's just an old wives tale.

Towards the end your swollen feet and extra weight may mean they're too uncomfortable, so I say wear and enjoy them whilst you can!

 

It's actually recommended to wear a slight heal all the time as it makes you adap the correct posture, especially during pregnancy

Today is the first time i have had heels on in i don't know how long, i;ve been on flip flops constantly!

I've heard the same as Sami, my MIL has been telling me off for wearing flats or high heels - she's saying I should only wear a slight heel..... I do most days as I'm working anyway and my work shoes have a little heel, but i do put my flat boots on at the weekend, and have worn high heels on a night out.

ok thanks girls, keep seeing my friend and she keeps saying to me 'get those heels off for goodness sake'! ill have to adjust and get some with a smaller heel....

Its bad for you to wear high heels pregnant or not. I used to work in a foot health clinic and women came in all the time with serious problems to their feet and gait from years of wearing high heels. Amongst other things it can cause a serious stoop in older age.

i wear whatever i can get to fit my feet and its usually heels to stop my feet looking like boats im a size 9 size 10 in trainers and if my feet grow this pregnancy im going to chop off my toes

I'm 5' 1" and couldn't go on a night out in flatties.

If that means a stoop in later life, so be it!

hun i wor heels til i was 7 months gone and i am ok apart from the fact that i cant fit into them any more lol x

i think ill mix it up a bit, wear heels and flats, dont like going out in flat when going on a night out, not that ive had one of those in a while, the tiredness wont allow!

debating whether to go cinema this weekend but im not sure ill stay awake!

I am only 5'3" which isn't too short with a snall heel, But my OH is only 5'2" .. he say's he is 5'4" but he's not. So when i wear heels i am a giant next to him..but he loves going out with a Tall Girl... he he he..
Most of the time i am in flat or very slight heels tho
