Hiya!

I've decided to move to tri 2 because my ticker says so and after having my 12 weeks scan last weeks, I feel that it closed the chapter on the tri 1 phase! Also, I feel like I will have more in common with ladies in this trimester now than in the first trimester!!

P.S Little pains in the tummy and achy lower abdomen are normal right?? Not bad, just slightly there.

xx

Welcome and congrats! it really does fly by in tri 2! Yep, Ive developed a penguin waddle due to how uncomfortable I get and I've felt like this from about 10 weeks to be honest. I'll be 20 weeks on sat and feel proper kicks everyday so I'm assuming everything is ok? Lol. Xx

Welcome!!

I would guess that what you're feeling is just the normal stretching and pulling of the ligaments and uterus, but you could always double-check with your midwife/doctor if concerned. :)

Hey flopsy :)
It seems to have gone really quick for you! Like the girls said the pain seems normal but ask your midwife if you want!

Hey Flopsy GREAT to see you here....welcome and enjoy your time here as you know it goes sooooo fast!! xxxx

Hi Flopsy and welcome to Tri 2! I get those pains too. Also, love your name, every time I read it I hear "Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter" in my head.

Lol! Thanks! I love the beatrix potter stories, I really like squirrel nutkin, but didn't think that name had the same ring to it! :D

Xx

Congratulations on Tri 2 hun! Hope you are well!

I was reading a site the other day that advised there can be alot of stretching pains in this tri due to the increased weight of your growing baby etc so it's normlay nothing to worry about xx

Hi Flopsy :)
I'm still getting the occasional niggly pain.. nothing to worry about. I also find I sometimes get quite sharp pains from coughing/sneezing/moving too quick. Must remember to be a little more careful! Just our bodies preparing us for the next few months of lugging all the extra weight around... stay calm ;) xxx
