Hi I am taking the plunge, found out I was pregnant for the first time 10 days ago on the Friday and when I went to see the doc on the Monday he said I was 8 weeks already! So 9 weeks today but don't know exact dates or due date or anything - have 1st appointment tomorrow to find all that out.
I feel really in the dark at the mo, haven't got the 1st clue what to do and have only told hubby & my mum as I'm scared I may lose it (I miscarried at about 6 weeks in 2008 - although again I didnt even know I was pregnant) - really hoping I'll find out more tomorrow. I want to read up on everything and stuff but just keep reminding myself that it may not work out - is that bad?
One good thing is I had a scan before easter (would have been 6 weeks I guess) as I had had irregular bleeding - they did an external & internal and all good, although the nurse said something showed up that she thought was a polyp - turns out it was an egg!!
Anyway, that's me right now, a little anxious but wanting to be excited - also hubby is away and I have a bad chest infection and very tired so speaking to some of you ladies would be v reassuring!
