HELP!!! on behalf of my friend

She has just sent me a message saying

"Help!! I have a Bat flying about in the kids playroom how do I get rid of it?"

Any ideas how to get it out, she is a single parent of 4 that lives in the middle of nowhere!!

I have suggested a huge fishing net, but she doesnt have that!!

She has tried to call the SSPCA but they are closed!!

Hmmm...WHAT A NIGHTMARE! if the kids were not actually using the room tonight (you said playroom) I would probably open the window for a while and close the door. Hope it flies out!

Yeah i would suggest that she turns the lights off and open the window and hope that it flies out in the night.

Well this is the thing... the playroom is in the middle of the house so no windows!!!

Kids doors are all closed, but she is worried they get up for the loo and the bat attacks!

Can't help with catching it sorry..............but when she has got it she needs to let it go from a height, like a washing line. My cat got one last year and we thought it was injured as it wouldn't fly from the floor. We phone the rescue centre and thats what they told us.

when we had a bat in our spare room we weaited till it was resting and carefully used a towel topick it up and released outside
