Help needed again! :o(

As you know ive been looking for a car, anyway today we dicieded that instead of looking for a cheap car we would splash out.

We now have a Ford Fiesta 2006 ...very swish huh lol

anyway the blumming thing didnt come with a user manual... which I thought was alright, until I decieded to take it for a run tonight. Anyway we got back and turned the engine off and locked it up and the stoopid dashboard light is still. Ive pressed every button, but no luck. We have waited over 20 mins for it to turn off but no joy.

Im told the controls for a new fiesta are the same for a focus???

I know im probably borimng you all with all these threads, but I have no1 else to ask
Please Help

Hmmm...not sure. What lights do you mean? The dash behind the steering wheel? They usually just come on & off with the main lights......am I thinking of the wrong lights there?

i know a few fords do this OH was on about it the other day, cant remeber if its normal or a problem though

my OH works for ford hes a technical specialist i would double check with him but he is asleep

Can't really help much with your problem though as never had one (although you've proberly sorted it by now ), I'm guessing you've tried looking on the net, is there like a ford help line that you could call.

Maybe its worth seeing if anyone is selling any manuals on ebay to help with any problems you may have in the future

Thanks girls, we did think it was a bit strange them selling a car without a manual, but I wanted the car there and then so I didnt really care.

Bought it from motorpoint... so its not a small company. Will ghive them a ring in a bit, been to busy driving round playing today hehe.

hi hunny,

this might help? where th light is a black button , it has 3 positions just push it and try which on works. I think it the the left is right, then shut car door lock car and light should go out?
